Understanding Microneedling with Dr. Pen
Microneedling involves creating minuscule microchannels on the skin’s surface, which triggers the body’s natural healing processes while boosting collagen and elastin production.
Steps for safe Usage
Note: It is indeed crucial to sterilize microneedling cartridges before each application to maintain safety and hygiene standards.Follow these steps meticulously to ensure proper sterilization:
- Gather all necessary sterilization supplies: gloves, a solution of isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher), and a clean container for holding the solution.
- Wear gloves throughout the process to prevent contamination of cartridges during sterilization.
- Inspect your cartridge carefully; confirm that all needles are intact (i.e., not bent) and free from debris.
- Pour sufficient alcohol solution into your container, then submerge the needle end of the cartridge into it for several minutes.
- If using an alcohol spray bottle, you may also spray directly onto the needle head of the cartridge.
- After completing sterilization, allow your cartridge to air dry fully before use.
