The microneedling cartridges must be sterilized prior to each submission to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Follow these steps meticulously:
- Gather all necessary sterilization supplies including gloves, isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher), and a clean container for soaking.
- Wear gloves throughout this process to prevent contamination during sterilization.
- Inspect your cartridge carefully; ensure that all needles are intact (not bent) and free from debris before proceeding.
- Add sufficient alcohol solution into your container and immerse the needle end of the cartridge in it; let it soak briefly-around two minutes should suffice.
- If using an alcohol spray bottle, direct it towards the needle head instead as an alternative method of sanitization.
- After soaking or spraying with alcohol solution, allow the cartridge air dry entirely before use.
- Your cartridge will now be ready for application!
